VIETNAMESE FOOD IS MORE THAN SOMETHING TO EAT

In the world, every country has its own specific characteristics such as tradition, culture, and people. And Vietnam is no exception. Today I will not mention about that, but I and you will discuss about another matter. That is about Vietnamese food because it is more than something to eat. It not only contains the entertainment and the energy for human body but also the national character and the habits and customs.

Actually, I really love Vietnamese food. And my favorite food is Pho because it is very delicious. On the other hand, it is considered as one of the most traditional food of Vietnamese. If you ask any foreigner that what is Vietnamese specialty? Of course they will answer:”Pho”. Pho was born a long time ago; now you can find Pho easily anywhere in Vietnam, even in remote areas. Moreover, in the world dictionary, the word Pho must not translate into any other languages and Pho means more than a food. It not only provides us with energy but also show the national character. That is why when foreigners come to Vietnam, I will introduce Pho to them. In HCM city, there are some famous shops Pho such as Pho 24h, Pho 2000, etc.

Apart from providing us nutrients and showing the national character, it also expresses talent of Vietnamese. For example: We can relax and release stress when look at some work arts like dragons and phoenixes which made by fruit, etc.

Although I’m a boy, I can cook a lot of Vietnamese specialties. And now I will tell you about the recipe of spring roll. It is a simple food with some ingredients like: meat, taro, girdle cake and some spices. You just mix meat with spices and then roll it with taro inside the girdle cake. Finally, fry it with hot oil and enjoy it. (I feel hungry now!)

Do you know? Although we are in Vietnam, food in every area is different. It creates the variety for Vietnamese food. People from the North eat less salt than people from the South. And people from Southern, people taste food by sugar but people from Northern don’t. In addition, people from Southern use more spicy in food than people from Northern.

Everything I have just said to you to show my pride to Vietnamese food in particular and Vietnamese people in general. Let’s advertise for Vietnamese food because Vietnamese food is more than something to eat.
